Made the PC version smooth and essentially stutter free for me. Also loads in like 3 seconds.
Max settings, 4k60.
Ryzen 5800x
32 gigs DDR4 (16x2 dual channel) 5000mhz CL14-14-14-34... I think this one is VERY important. Memory latency.. Also I have resizable bar enabled which may be helping.
3080ti FTW3 Ultra and instead on a sabrent rocket gen4 SSD with cooling provided by motherboard.
Windows 10, latest patches and feature updates. Running Adguard, ghub, Xbox app, Win defender, GeForce experience, steam and EVGA precision oc.
That's all that runs besides essentially a clean Win10 install. I've disable Nagle's algorithm in Windows, it helps reduce latency in online games. Everyone should do this, it's best for anything fast paced and complex.
So if it's stuttering for you maybe something there can help.
Oh I also disable all overlays and the GeForce experience overlay and features.
The only other thing I did was clear my shader cache, then set it back to 10 gigs. Im going to swap my 240 gig Samsung Evo to a 1TB Evo. My swap file is also on my HDD which is my main storage drive and also where my default folders are.
This gives Windows basically sole access to the SSD it's installed on, the game full access to a different SSD and swap is on an HDD. Since I have 32 gigs of ram it's rarely used so it has no effect on my gaming but it can if you have less ram. I think 32 is necessary for modern gaming even though you never really use all of it. Better to have 25% too much ram than 25% less... I don't want swap to be used by the systems while gaming.
